Student essay award

Our annual student essay award

Every year the Psychology Network runs a student essay award in which we ask students to tell us about an aspect of their psychology learning and teaching experience. This year's question was 'How, and why, should psychology staff provide feedback on your academic performance?'.

We are very pleased to announce that the winner of the 2010 Psychology Network student essay competition is Louise Murray.

Louise is a third year psychology student at the University of Edinburgh.

We would also like to congratulate James Donnelly, a second year psychology student at Southampton Solent University, and Laura Jebb, a first year psychology student at the University of Salford, who were very close runners up.

We would like to thank everyone who got involved with the award, either by submitting an essay, or by encouraging others to do so. A selection of opinions from other essays will be available soon.
